I’d love if we were all (whatever discipline here) were open about which jobs we were applying for. Hard to be a person who starts it though!

I’d love that as well—I know many would be intimidated but why? It would make us all aware of the skills it takes to get into a position but it would also build community to know “ah I know JUST the right person for this since they applied for….”

I think the fear that potential employers could see ‘behind the curtain’... the curtain that we sew together during interviews. That is not a good metaphor but hopefully you understand!
