Does the technology used make the project worth more?

Why are interiors, and in general things in real-world-materials, always so thick in the US? 🤔 I see a lot of leather bound notebooks and wooden tools that are so very thick / big / robust. It's like the opposite of Danish design. Anyone know why this is?

I had a breakthrough when I realised I shouldn't look to minimise the risk of failing, I should try to minimise the cost of failing.

RSS and webmentions are already there. We need some apps. And a strong community to start from. Maybe #buildinpublic could be that group?

What I love about posts is that it’s a community of creatives. X is overrun by noise. But so is mastodon and the rest. Posts is calm, beautiful, and creative. I love that.

I used to hang out with body builders. And they would repeat "progress is progress".

Building a huge physique takes years. The changes are not really noticeable. 

So you have to trust the process, your job is to make a little progress, consistently.
