This multi-select is my favorite component I've designed. It took a while to get all the combos of focus, hover and selected states accounted for. Prototyping the design wasn't possible to capture all the little interactions. I had to take to codepen to build a working concept.

A Perfect Squircle: I used four well placed ellipses to programmatically create a scalable squircle using basic CSS.
