I think the AI backlash means people are already hating on AI generated work, but the craving for anything "genuine" has been on the rise for awhile now thanks to social media backlash. People are tired of fakeness, basically lol
Also this specific idea VCs are trying to shill that "people are going to generate their own stories" yet simultaneously "want to consume other peoples' generated stories" makes absolutely no sense/is blatantly self-contradictory
I agree with you on both takes, how do you imagine the future? Where do you think our tiredness will lead us?
I think designers and other people are going to be left cleaning up the mess AI leaves behind.. And that will take some time. It also means the general public's opinion of tech will worsen more. But I think we'll be needed, for sure lol
