Designers; what's the best way for a small design team to share open files for remote and blended collaboration? Dropbox, Drive, etc are not working well...

I'm curious to hear other peoples' experiences because I'm used to either Drive or Dropbox.. I feel like Dropbox seems to sync better but both are pretty manual and require maintenance over time. Most companies seem to prefer Drive just for cost-related reasons lol
