It was the same issue here because the publishers only had the academics hardcover version. Try to find the paperback! It’s way more affordable.

I just checked Amazon and the paperback price is the same as the original hardcover price when it released 🙉

Yes. The hardcover price has skyrocketed here. It’s like 120€ on Amazon vs 45€ for the paperback. Generally fiction books are really cheap in India and some publishers like O’reilly have Indian editions that make books affordable. But imports are always expensive.

Yeah… also this is the first edition, I guess they’re testing the demand.
