as a kid I was the biggest corduroy hater bc I didn't like the texture... now I like it a lot
I just read one of those books to my 1 year old last night for the first time. The illustrations are lovely. Can totally see how they'd be off-putting to a kid, though.
wait i love the texture -- its a bit weird when it touches itself, but ITS awesome
