if you want real carts, that is going to be a significant investment. you’re better off with a flash cart or sideloading roms directly onto the device

Interesting. I’ll have to do some more research on it. Also I’m not a collector so I’m just getting the carts to play the game and then sell.

I've got multiple Pockets, you can sideload and put ROMs directly on the device through custom FPGA cores. 

Dunno about the carts since if they're in the UK they should be PAL carts which are cheaper so maybe real? but as a collector, i think still highly sus

Seems easy enough, where do you find ROMs? I'm mostly interested in GB, GBC, GBA and Sega Genesis. Maybe NatGeo

Thanks for the heads up. So far, both sellers are very reputable, one from the UK with a long history of good reviews and good products. Also, this device isn’t capable of side loading or putting roms directly on the device.

All the ones I looked at on eBay were too expensive. Got Warioland 1-4 for $50 altogether, and two GBA Kirby games for $15. Shipping included.

Got a slew of ROMs on it for GB, GBC and GBA. graphics are vibrant and controls are great. Form factor is a bit odd feeling, although it’s basically the same size as the original game boy (not the color which was smaller). Retro games are hard because they’re simpler 🤣

I love this on a million levels. The simple Tetris hi, green. Ugh. All of it.

Had one guy rip me off for two games but Etsy refunded me so no big deal. Guy from UK sent me 4 games for basically $40.

I ebay’d a few old game boys. What are the prices like on etsy?

You may not care but carts you buy off Etsy are _likely_ fake and might just stop working one day. the prices you mentioned are 100% too cheap to be real carts

Finally snagged an Analogue Pocket in the last color drop. Starting to research where to find old Game Boy games, found Etsy to be a great value and reliable. So much nostalgia this winter.
