Recreating airdrop animation in #SwiftUI + Metal

Been a long time since I posted here. I've been teaching myself SwiftUI and Metal and it's been really fun. Will share some example going forward.

Built the same thing with .zoom transition (supported iOS 18.0+) SwiftUI is still bugging but UIKit works flawlessly.

2024 was the year of #SwiftUI for me. I started something out of boredom and made a habit of writing code. A cup of coffee and Xcode was sort of solving sudoku for me. I tried something  daily basis and shared the progress to motivate myself.
