Why do you think tech doesn’t have a future or stability? I feel there is a lot in tech that should be fixed, maybe you can join companies trying to change, fix and make tech more stable.

Had a sit down with my parents regarding my career. Tech doesn't have a future or stability. What else is there for someone with my skill set? It was my lowest point.
There's also my specific career choice that is having the most issues when it comes to hiring. picking up a new skill in another field takes time.
they didn't say tech doesn't have a future. I'm saying it. There is no future for me from the looks of things. so i should try to prove myself wrong.,
