A coupIe of my current design/theory reads! The Shape of Design is one I go back to whenever I need a reminder of why I do this. Trying to find out ways to consciously incorporate solidarity and community into my practice, so Design & Solidarity felt like an obvious purchase.

I think because in a lot of ways the book feels like a love letter TO design. To the expected and unexpected processes, to toiling over details, to the joy, delight, and frustrations of creation, to the connections we build with our work and those who experience it.
