+1 I know quite a few founders that would refuse certain VC’s (rare). Let’s be honest though, I feel most well-established VCs that have billions in investments would most likely endorse Trump.

i don't think that's true. i don't think that it's a majority, but there are definitely people who will stick to their morals and aren't willing to get in bed with the morally bankrupt

1) Their reasoning honestly is predictable. Basically they want, of course, unregulated AI. They don’t want the Biden tax on unrealized capital gains that would only affect over 100 million dollars 💵😂 .

The best reasoning I’ve read is a simple one: billionaires support Trump because Trump tends to benefit billionaires.

I used to run a scholarship program for women working on OSS (similar to Outreachy) & we definitely had to make hard decisions about whether to take certain types of money. Not the same obvi but.. just supporting Jedmund’s point that there are still people with morals out there💜

2) they made a very bold slippery slope argument that you can just make as much money at Google as if you started your own company ( and made 100 million dollars) lol. A very 🍌 banana stand moment
