It’s definitely a bird. Swifts/swallows do have a tail shape similar to that but less pronounced. So you could explore that. Side note/ there’s an excellent shout class on Skillshare about minimal animal logos if you are more after reduction than realism.
I wasn't really aiming for any bird in particular, so it's kind of a mix of different parts of different birds that I thought looked cool. My reference image was a swallow-tailed kite, but obviously I deviated from that halfway through lol
