Your search idea is super cool! It reminds me of the AAC app Proloquo, where they have an auxiliary column of related words for ease of use

Next, I tried to come up with a solution for an issue I confront often in software - Finding stuff you vaguely remember. 

Depicted below are four different types of searches one could use to find text content that seems elusive.

Sometimes, you wish you could insert a message in-between other messages to clarify / add more context to something you said already or maybe just want to reorder the messages you brain-dumped in a chat.

Imagining a system-wide swap action that could allow users to fix mixed-up entries, explore different layouts quickly in design tools, fix bugs in code, change priorities in a to-do app, and a lot more.

I kicked off the project with an exploration of how copying would look with visual feedback. 

It is subtle, but I have seen myself and others hit shortcuts repeatedly when they lacked feedback and copying is one of them.
