So I launched this project recently. It’s a space where we explore novel possibilities in digital interfaces. Please take a look and let me know all your feedback! ✨ prabros.com/adjacent-possi…
I kicked off the project with an exploration of how copying would look with visual feedback. It is subtle, but I have seen myself and others hit shortcuts repeatedly when they lacked feedback and copying is one of them.
The next one was Quick Stash: Imagining a quick access temporary store on your mobile to save and retrieve images, website URLs, and other resources without filling up your gallery/storage. You can see the full video over at: prabros.com/adjacent-possi…
Then I moved on to explore an interface enhancement that could help one explore and compare design variants without a lot of tiring undos and redos. A live hover preview for design operations. Full video here: prabros.com/adjacent-possi…
Next, I tried to come up with a solution for an issue I confront often in software - Finding stuff you vaguely remember. Depicted below are four different types of searches one could use to find text content that seems elusive.
And here is the latest addition to the project. Sometimes, you wish you could insert a message in-between other messages to clarify / add more context to something you said already or maybe just want to reorder the messages you brain-dumped in a chat.
Imagining a system-wide swap action that could allow users to fix mixed-up entries, explore different layouts quickly in design tools, fix bugs in code, change priorities in a to-do app, and a lot more. Read the full post on: prabros.com/adjacent-possi…
I’m in love with your explorations. I’m planning on recreating them with Play soon! I’ll ping you :)
Wow totally looking forward to what you are going to do with it! Haven't got a chance to play with Play yet 😅. I have been consistently impressed by what @gray has been doing with it though! Also thanks a lot for the kind words!
Check your DMs on Twitter :) Gray is amazing, he really takes Play to next level. Your explorations feel Apple-like, really polished!
