When you're going to think about the hero and instantly conveying the purpose of the site, consider also thinking about why would user need an account and why can't they just browse? Will help writing language around sign up CTAs. Overall it's a solid ground so far! Good luck.
I've got some pixels to show 🫠 Work is in progress of course, but I can't handle myself from showing 👀 Thoughts on this layout so far?

This looks like a Zillow of some sort, but it's unclear on what's the stage of the journey this screen represents. Is that a home page hero? What can I do on this site? Browse, apply to rent, apply to buy?
Nav is duplicated, but I'd consider giving viewer a quick teaser on what the site is about. Very nice that you're showing product face upfront right away by exposing one on the apartment listings. I'd expose the catalog even further, maybe like airbnb.com?
Also consider calming down the font styles and sizes. I can count 5 just on this screen. Figure out the layout, figure out the navigation path. Only then proceed to styling / colors.
Also give a hint to the user that there may be something below the fold! Almost everyone scrolls when they open the page, sure, but it's even more inviting if there's something “visibly hidden”. Eg., reviews could be stacked into two rows and next row is optionally expandable.
