I think I’d do it if there were an easy trustworthy way to transfer songs and playlists from Spotify to apple music 🫠

There are some services for that, have you tried one of those?

I really like Apple Music but I wish they allowed me to swipe on the album art to go to the next/prev song. Also, if a song has multiple artists, there is no easy way you to go to the second or third artist’s page.

🎯 It's pretty shocking how far Spotify's UX has fallen over the last decade, especially since they have so much amazing design talent. There must be some draconian business goals driving these UX choices because they really don't seem to have a user's best interest in mind.

there must be a ‘tenure’ rule for products we have used for too long and can’t switch over without a terrible transfer experience.. I feel that comfortability keeps most people in place, bearing whatever downsides there might be

spotify playlist is still unrivaled though... I don't think i have an issue with the UX though, Maybe i have to update the app to really see it

I have both services, overall I prefer Apple Music, for audio quality, interface, lyrics show, the fact that I can sync all my mp3 library into it and without DRM so I can open them in other apps, for example Yamaha Chore Tracker, and be able to see songs chords.

But I need to give Spotify credits because I feel music discovery and suggestion is superior there. Now theres this emotional thing: Apple music interface feels calm and serene while Spotify feels stressful, there is a lot of things around.
