B2B apps need more thoughtful design. You can have both beauty + function… they’re not mutually exclusive.

I agree. However, it's challenging to balance creating something that people actually want with investing in beauty. I've learned that the hard way. I believe an incremental approach is best, starting with core functionality & gradually enhancing the thing based on user feedback.

I agree with this as well—plenty of "beautiful" products that never see a true light of day (or PMF) because they aren't wanted. Tony Fadell's "Build" is a great resource on this.

Will check it out. Thanks for mentioning it. I’m using this incremental improvement approach with my product, Nicelyformed. You should have seen the dashboard when we launched; we've made significant improvements since then, but we still have a long way to go. 1/2

(1/2) Thoughts: - Great direction, product is clear - Would make the videos a little faster (they feel slow and I felt myself wanting to break to other parts of the site) - Would make the components interactive

(2/2) - Your video automatically plays full-screen on safari (iPhone mobile), so you'll want to disable that functionality or the user on iPhone is thrust into a full-screen video vs. your landing page. Great work! Should be proud.

Bookmarked to give it a proper look tomorrow! And I agree—our V1 was so slow we had toasts to show when pages were loading because people would think the app froze 😭
