you're starving us the opportunity to see it in action with just a photo :'(

A bit of buttery smooth action! (minus the flickering....🙄) We have new led's installed and I couldn't manage to sort it out in-camera. I assumed I'd be able to do it in post but this seems to be a fairly premium solution everywhere 😅

after moving USA→AU I had to change a setting on my camera app (iOS) to make my videos not flicker because the lights were different here. Kinda cool

Lights in the Americas and some parts of Asia refresh at 60Hz, and 50Hz in the rest of the world. Normally your camera should switch between them automatically, but there should be a setting in the app to switch it over manually

Yea the Netherlands where I am is 50Hz. Yet I couldn't quite get it sorted in camera (Sony a6400). I think I'll need to dive into the settings a little deeper. I didn't try my Pixel but I remember experiencing something similar once before.

in any case, you've got me contemplating a $47 (aud) cheese slicer 😭

I'm always jokingly talking about how amazing this slicer is because it just sounds really fancy. But it truly is the best one I ever had 😂 Don't get me wrong, you might be able to find a great one for less. But this one just feels right. I'd probably buy it again at that price!

Love the pattern, I assume it’s there to make the slice not stick? It would have looked twice as expensive without the logo though

Correct! That's the innovative part haha. But it's also very sturdy, has a great angle and has a nice weight to it. And I agree on the logo, heck it would've looked nicer to perhaps engrave it instead.

The pattern is also there not just for the slice to not stick, but also for a smooth cut and the block of cheese to not grip and tear which happens a lot with cheeses that haven't aged that much :)

Wow this looks pretty cool @noopur

Cheese slicers can really be hit or miss. And us Dutchies eat a lot of cheese, so having the right tool for the job is essential 😅 This is definitely the best one I've ever come across haha
