sweet collection! which (if any) are your holy grails? this is my wee stack of 45s - not specific to any era or genre but definitely soul-centric

Nice! I have a long, revolving list of holy grail records but one I've been after for a really long time is 'Honey Boy' by Nella Dodds. It's such a cute song youtube.com/watch?v=6TjuAj… What about you?

Sweet Three - That's The Way It Is -- one of my all time favs youtu.be/xeH0nmhkBto?si…

Sweet Three - THAT'S THE WAY IT IS (When A Girl's In Love) (1966)
NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED - (Decca 32005) This 1966 East Coast release is one of two that the group would issue on the Decca label as the Sweet Three. They also issued discs under the names, The SWANS, HARRIET LAVERN & The LOVENOTES and HONEY LOVE & The LOVENOTES, With the sound of Motown meets Phil Spector, the combination of Leon Huff's production and Jimmy Wisner's arrangement created a fantastic dancefloor filler that although it wasn't a hit when originally released, it has become a double-sided collectable among Northern Soul and Girl Group record collectors.
