Testing YouTube setups. Any videographers over here got any lighting advice?

It really depends on the style you want. I like this setup but I’d say look for some type of soft box to put over the ring light. There’s a lot of diy ways to do it too. There’s a lot of simple setup tutorials on YT
Ah that’s a great idea — to soften the ring light! I hear you — yeah I’m not super sure yet what I’m going for. The American turned British YouTuber Evan Edinger always has some very unique and pleasant setups. I like that it looks natural yet still feels intentional.
Then of course there’s Rick Beato — but his setup is much more involved I’m sure.
