Every year I coach I learn something new or change my approach in some way. We graduated a ton of players from last season. I've always been opposed to over-coaching, but this year I was adamant about my philosophy on getting kids to trust themselves on the court & it paid off.

Took me until the end of the season to stop comparing this team to our past ones, and to appreciate how lucky we were to be in a position where we improved all year.
