For now I'm focusing on building the community around this project and spreading the word. More effects are coming (a deep dive into GLSL shaders), an "in use" section for the community. I may add support for layering and animation in the future. The tools will remain free ;)

Thank you very much! By the way, you can upload your own images to create custom patterns. Works best with square textures. Give it a try!
