I just go further and further back into music from before when I made my own decisions (but hey, a place to share: I recently discovered Warm Dust). Discovery as a concept feels pretty dead to me.

Look up who produced or recorded an album, find their other work.

Listening to dj sets and radio shows, NTS radio is a good place to start (and can sort shows by genre).

Apple Music’s Discovery station has been getting much better for me…randomly though, Instagram ads have been turning up some GREAT tunes too - that algorithm knows me too well.
