My first thought: “This would get confusing or hard to follow…” But then, I realized I always had the same assumption about collaborative design before trying it. With music, as with design, it would likely make communication more efficient — and that’s a great thing!

It's not a wild idea. As a musician, I want to create and collaborate from wherever I am. But making high quality zero latency music on the web is hard.

Indeed, that’s a complex problem to solve. Apple has “Share Play” where you can listen to audio or watch video together with someone remotely. I wonder if there are some strategies that could translate from that feature? I also wonder whether true zero latency would be required?
