Thank you @nathanp 👏🏽 I know the difference now I’m a designer. But I think I have gotten used to saying fonts for everything. When I’m teaching newbies though or something I know calls for proper terminology, I always call myself to order.

It's font to 99% of the world, so I use that most of the time

Yes I still say fonts. I know the right differentiation but “font” is easier. I always catch myself correcting myself when ever I say font instead of “typeface” 😂

Font is better too when conversing with non creatives. It really is easier

I say typeface when I mean typeface and font when I mean font but then again I also point out to people when they use hyphens instead of en or em dashes so yeah I’m *that* person 😂😂😂

I think of typeface as the family of fonts and font as each size/weight
