Half of the year has passed, and so has my reading goal for the year! One book every month is still hard to keep up with for me, but still on track :) Anyone with a recommendation for a good novel? Realized that I only read non-fiction this year 😂
This is another non-fiction book, but I really love "How to Not Be Wrong" by Jordan Ellenberg. It is a very fun book about math and its history (and applying those underlying principles to decision-making, outside of math)
Thanks!! Actually I’ve tried books about brain, consciousness, and how to think and decide better this year, but it was really hard to get to the last page of them😂 It’s really tempting as you’re saying it’s a fun book and other reviews also saying it’s enjoyable to read!
Haha I hear you! What I like about it is that it’s more a book about math, statistics, and economics than it is about how to think. He gives a lot of examples (like the history of the Pythagorean theorem) and then you draw your own conclusions. FWIW I hate math :P
