I'd love an M3 Pro option with upgrade option to 24GB of RAM vs 36GB. 36 is likely overkill. So is 24 in most of my use, but it's a little more future proof than 18GB.

What say ye? Stay with 18, or opt for 36?

I’ve had the activity monitor open for a week and it’s hardly spiked, so I’m leaning toward that recommendation! ☺️

Probably no video editing or heavy photo editing, or animation. I could see exploring some of that but not a central focus on my day to day. Figma, productivity tools etc

Im Mac Mini team so M3 is not even an option :-)

Then I’ll probably stick with 18! I use it for 3D and it works well. Maybe for gaming I would try 36gb but other than that I see no use (:

Try to help me ignore the fact that it’s $400 more for additional RAM. Money isn’t a privilege for me, but I’m able to swing that at this moment. 

In case the hindered opinion. Ignore price (within reason😅)
