Indeed! I like these quirky experimental sites. And the specific publication has been going strong since 2007! Although they switched to solar much more recently.

It has back up batteries that actually power it for a pretty good while. I've never gone to it and it's below 70%

Haha I’m sure it has a battery, but it’s charged by the sun too, right? The idea is, if it’s cloudy for many days in a row, it’ll eventually go down. It has an uptime indicator on the bottom left. Right now it says it’s been up for “4 days, 1 hour, 16 minutes”
