Haha I’m sure it has a battery, but it’s charged by the sun too, right? The idea is, if it’s cloudy for many days in a row, it’ll eventually go down. It has an uptime indicator on the bottom left. Right now it says it’s been up for “4 days, 1 hour, 16 minutes”
Indeed! I like these quirky experimental sites. And the specific publication has been going strong since 2007! Although they switched to solar much more recently.
