Trying to figure out what folks use nowadays, or if everyone is still sticking with AE.

Actually shocked I can't find a decent Figma plugin for scaffolding a design system. 

I just need something to generate color scales, type scales, and spacing values like 1 = 4px and store them as variables. Such a pain to do by hand.

I have half a mind to make my own 🤔

I have yet to see X referenced without a "/ Twitter" or "(formerly Twitter)" after it, and honestly that'll forever be hilarious to me.

My current strategy is to take full-page captures using Arc then import them into Figma using the Insert Big Image plugin. Otherwise, Figma compresses the hell out of them 😭

This one was much trickier to get right – the "VIDEO CASSETTE" text seems to be some weird combination of Futura Light and Futura Condensed, and Light seemed to match up better with the original despite feeling not as narrow.

General speaking though, I think it looks ok!!

Designing an app for a friend and couldn't find a high enough quality image of an Ember mug online, so I recreated a vector version of it using a bunch of gradients and Figma effects 🥰

One of my new years resolutions is to read a lot more, especially nonfiction. I'm currently halfway through Outliers.

Recently signed up for 10x Designers and leveraged a couple different techniques by Fons Mann to do a retro visual exploration of the Korean character 한 (as in 한굴 = Korean).

I love the Korean alphabet and wanted to see what I could do with its primitive shapes 😊
