I applied to a job back in June. Tried to get a referral from a former employee (I guess it didn't work). Someone from the company saw my LinkedIn. But I never got a reply. 

Met someone yesterday at the event that works there and he said they just filled the position. FML.

Things like this are why I get hives when I see people give the advice of "oh, just get a referral" as if that guarantees anything lol 

There's no rules anymore, just vibes

Too bad Human Resources doesn’t behave human friendly, I heard a lot people are being left on air, and I think is not that hard at least have an email or message saying thanks for applying but You didn’t advanced in the process.
