I have doubts whether doing this as a fractional PM would be effective and client-fit would be really important. But was keen to give it a shot!

These are cool! I'm actually freelancing for one right now as well. I was hoping to do one with product but it's a bit harder to define.

I believe you could help a lot of early-stage startups, maybe you could even find yourself working in the UX Strategy too :)

+ I think the best way to make this a market fit is to build awareness about why it's important and how you've impacted other companies.

My specialisation was actually going to be around being the first PM of a startup and helping them grow (up to Series C) having just done it before a couple of times.

Oh, that's so interesting! I'm thinking about being a UX designer for SaaS startups that don't have a UX team yet and collaborating with them to define a great product experience. I just hope that my desire to help outweighs my lack of experience 🤠

I don't know if you prefer to be a solopreneur, but there is a trend of monthly design agency subscriptions slowly appearing (which means working on different projects). You could try to find them and reflect if you see yourself going in that way :)

But yeah, I think the most difficult part is to define your niche and stick to it for a while. That's why people say to either niche on what you love or where you already have work experience.
