I signup, promptly forget about it, and then have to go look up what the thing is when I finally get access months later 😅

what are everyone's opinions on waitlists? let's say you found a really cool new app, but it's in beta and the only option that's given is to sign up for a waitlist with your email and wait; do you sign up or not?
