And also curious about your experience regarding the accuracy! I saw quite number of comments on StackOverflow saying that it’s not accurate, but do you think it’s okay if I’m only looking for city-level location info?

Haha don't be sad will try so that you can leave a new one saying Berkeley! Actually it's getting the info from the timezone from the browser, so not sure if I can get there. And will take a look into the hover interruption ;)

This is incredible! Love the transition into the lab, the guest book, and the ropey typing animations! A couple small things I noticed - if you hover text mid transition it interupts the transition, and I was a bit sad the guestbook placed in me LA instead of Berkeley :P

This is my favorite portfolio I have ever seen. The unique hex code for each visitor is so so so nice

I just did a thing last week where you can pull IP location via ipapi.com and then trigger whatever based on the response.

(Used it to change currency symbols/amounts and URL endpoints based on location)

yeah i think unless you request current location from the browser it's pretty innacurate - I'd be happy to fork over my location information to your site though haha
