I’ve been thinking about my impending brand redesign and I want to go fully rule-breaking on it. I hate that there’s this unwritten rule that business branding and content has to be so boring. 

I want to be at the intersection of valuable and unhinged (in a fun way)

Mad interesting to see singular opinions on here about features stated like everyone wants them, some of which I’m like please, no, don’t. 

It’s like moving to a new place and immediately decorating everything instead of feeling the vibe of the new space and responding to it.

Continuing to long-goodbye from the bird app and Posts is giving me the breath of fresh social media air I need, coming up from workshop design (so. many. sticky notes 🫠) 

I love that it’s a refreshing and often times visually stunning break, rather than an attention hijack

is there anyone else here who does the business side of creative work? And also radicalizes everyone into being designers by discipline?

Where did all the climate tech & sustainability designers go 👀 I’m running some charrettes with an incubator in Los Angeles (iykyk) and I need domain experts. 

Really doing my best to get more creatives into these business spaces.

While I never advocate for working on the weekends, I just finished reading The Content Fuel Framework and it has unlocked some new perspectives in storytelling for me. I’m annoyed that now I want to do some work.

One thing I really missed during peak-panny time was aggressive work travel. 

I used to be a 48/52 week, 100+ segments/year traveler in a past life and I have been on a plane every 4-5 weeks, now heading into every other week and I love it

The airport is my favorite place 🛫🛬

Yo it’s wild how being a designer permeates every facet of life, even if you’re retired from a vertical of the craft. 

I can’t stay in a hotel without judging every single inch of guest room, common, and F&B spaces. Which is why I airbnb’d for so long, but I’m back
