There are certainly other examples of modular synthesizers that may be better looking. the principle of connecting simple things to make art was my focus here

I feel like these synths are great but they really are what happens when engineering focus on function over form.

They always remind me those old industrial control panels that made 0 sense and were hard to operate.

It looks confusing at first, but audio synthesis is based on the same principles of connecting simple things together to make something beautiful
