It looks confusing at first, but audio synthesis is based on the same principles of connecting simple things together to make something beautiful

I feel like these synths are great but they really are what happens when engineering focus on function over form. They always remind me those old industrial control panels that made 0 sense and were hard to operate.
There are certainly other examples of modular synthesizers that may be better looking. the principle of connecting simple things to make art was my focus here
