Not sure how normal this is, but whenever I've been mostly coding/designing for a while and need to write something in-depth like a blog post or an email bulletin, it takes me a day of doing nothing to switch into 'writing mode'

Using code you don’t know 💯% will bite you hard later. 
My experience is that AI is okay for <10 line snippets that you fully understand, not life changing

Curation is easy, creating is hard. Reacting is safe; creating opens you up to being criticized and reacted to. “It’s too ugly”, “it’s not professional enough”, “AI could do this better”. 

But still, people keep creating.

I've tried to explain to normal people what CSS is and how standards changed the web, but it's the story of rebeccapurple (#663399) that really makes most people appreciate how human-scale the fight for the web was (and still is).

I saw this video online about Simcity for nes/snes, and noticed that they toggled the minimap on automatically when you enter panning mode. I think something like that could work really well in Kinopio when you hold space key to pan the view

[New Blog Post] Digging Into PlantStudio, a Bit Late

Don’t know if I’ve ever said this publicly but sandwich is the ultimate interface:

Everyone figures out how to hold it on their own. When you see it, you know what’s in it. As you eat, the weight/balance communicates how much is left without having to look at it. Also delicious.

Writing code changes you: you’ll start to insist on specificity, prefer not to infer context, and distrust ambiguity.
