Sadie doesn't have cancer or fungal infection, but the current diagnosis is that her autoimmune disease is attacking her body. We are at 12 steroid pills and 8 nasal drops daily which is not good for her aggressiveness around hunger and thirst.
The good news is that Sadie’s ultrasound came back clear, with no problems detected in her gallbladder or liver. However, her sinuses are inflamed and almost completely blocked, so they took a biopsy and fluid for cultures.
Hiked up the mountain with the dogs. Sadie has been getting extra walks, cuddles, and treats. As usual the view was beautiful. I often have wondered if our furry companions appreciate the view.
Sad news. The vet called today concerned about Sadie's liver. They want to do an ultrasound due to high levels in her labs. I'm giving her extra walks and love, hoping for the best. I am afraid we are on a downward spiral, though she has been worse before.
Hey there! Sadie update. She's still having some issues, but I'm feeling positive because she ate breakfast today. Poor thing has a red nose, though. It's so sad to see her like this. I wish there was something more I could do to make her feel better.
