Feeling grateful that I have opportunities to test my designs with people with disabilities on fable. I’ve learned so much about the different ways we use technology in the past two weeks just prepping material and conducting usability sessions.

TIL “DoubleTap” was already available on Series 8 and Ultra under Accessibility > AssistiveTouch > Hand Gestures. Don’t know how I feel about Apple repackaging features to seem like they’re brand new, but nice to have A11y take the big stage and gets us used to spatial computing?

TIL WCAG 3.0 (still years away) may have a bronze silver gold rating system instead of the A, AA, AAA in 2.X. Instead of a straight pass/fail, products will receive a total score instead. (Eg. Text 4.1:1 contrast is scored higher than 3:1 - with 4.5:1 being a perfect score)
