Question for Figma users out there... when handling many type styles (incl. multiple breakpoints) how do you group type styles? And why? What do you find most browsable?

New Read CV Site template inbound. Let's see if I can remember how to write code.

I’m curious, lots of chat about Bluesky, folks moving from Twitter… what do you see the 2 (more!?) different platforms being used for? Posts seems more niche, creatives mainly, with bluesky being a more generic Twitter alternative? Dare I mention masterdon? Where are you heading?

Best thing in my dock isn’t even an app. ☕️

I've had more direct interaction from creatives in the first ~4 hours of using Posts than in that last 4 months on Twitter. @andy I think you're onto a winner. If a platform is about building community, posting into a void and paying for visibility is not the way. Posts is ace 👏

What if in Figma, you could just talk to and hear people whose cursor you were close to, just like in a real space in real life? Proximity based audio/video chat?

There are tons of design curation sites, (SiteInspire, Godly, VisualJournal, Awwwards) but not common to find sites that explain *WHY* something was curated. 

For designers wanting to improve their eye for good design I think that's important? Do these exist? Should I make one?

Another favourite dug out this weekend, the scroll-triggered typography and image animations thrown together for my wife's personal site. Lots of fun coding this.

With the dawn of tools like Chat-GPT and MidJourney, designers around the world will finally be able to say yes tricky client requests. 🙈

Bit of an old one, but I found this stunning image of Iceland on Unsplash, chopped it up into layers and animated some parallax on scroll for a subtle but immersive effect.

Hacking away at the brand new Sites from the Read/Posts team. Lots of fun, love the idea of shipping a hot-reloading browser and IDE for everyone to just play with. Bravo @andy

Just a reminder to all designers that it’s ok for your Figma canvas to look like this. This is normal.

How productive you are is not a measure of how good of a person you are. Some days you have 110% to give, others you have 50%. It’s a marathon not a sprint.
