What important problem do very few people think should be solved? I’m curious to know what comes up

I’d like to be at a job for a long time. Like a really long time. My dad has had two jobs since I was born, the second being his last before retirement. 

It feels like like the only way to do that is with a private company, shareholders fuck everything up.

Here's a simple concept: after you delete something, you've got a few seconds (let's say two) to undo it.

Yesterday, I took the first long hiking (13km) in this spring and took some photo with Soft Focus mode on the Sony RX100. The result was amazing when I look the photo today, it is like film 🎞️

Could critical thinking be in part a function of one’s ability to accept realities that are painful to consider? I wonder how much information we dismiss because it’s simply too hard to acknowledge.

I wonder how many great ideas or original thoughts were never shared simply because the means needed to express it was too tedious to deal with. If using language is a skill, than I would assume a great deal of those ideas/thoughts are still only accessible to the originator.

History doesn’t always repeat itself but it rhymes. Almost 50 years later and here we are again 🫠

As a creator, how do you feel about creating alternatives to existing softwares/apps vs creating new tools? Part of me cringes at the idea of recreating something that exists already, but I can also see the value in having alternatives. Anyone else thinks about this duality?

A mental shift that’s sometimes challenging but ultimately beneficial is swapping “uncertainty” with “opportunity.”

So if you ever find yourself feeling stuck or worried due to uncertainty, ask yourself what the opportunity is. Then go do that. 😃

Taking lead on accessibility at my current place has opened up a whole new realization that so much of the internet and digital products today disregard these guidelines completely. 1 in 6 people have some form of disability. 1 in 6.
