It will never be the same....lol..that being said , you will also start to adapt. You will learn to find pockets or slots. This will happen once you have a rhythm. Most important of all get that sleep training going. You got this!

Appreciate this @gee_lingam! Ty! We've been sleep training our little one for over a month now and she's giving us 8-10hr blocks of sleep "most" the time so we're feeling good about that aspect of the rhythm rn.

I feel you, man. When the baby gets older, it is easier to find time. With 8 months, it's just trying-to-survive mode. In the end, we find a way, even if that means not sleeping.

Appreciate this @carlospx! Definitely in survival + adapt mode rn. haha! Looking fwd to having a bit more focused time once we move our little into daycare around 18-24 months. Until then.... :) we learn and love.

Life can’t be the same as before. Flexibility was key for us. it depends on your parenting style too. Some work towards more of a routine, others not. Shorter creative sessions broken with active parenting became the norm. As did shifting my hours around to suit my wife’s needs

Right on. Thanks @caspianievers! I've been getting more used to the shorter sessions since her being born and was definitely an adjustment. Working now late at night when the little one goes down also seems to be the "time to get shit" done.
