Basically just CSS transforms, like we could years ago! So ‘real’ 3D with depth etc, but no lighting sources or anything. Framer’s 3D transforms update has made it nice and more visual though.

This is overkill isn’t it? But which is the nicer overkill?

Thanks! Yeah some have taken a visual collection approach like OpenEmu or even Delta iOS but nothing 3D… and this is just a fun way to show my favourites, no launching.

I like the simpler one TBH - It feels more sophisticated. The “grab” doesn’t add much value, imo.. I would just expect to be able to “click” and see more information about that specific game.

This is beautiful. I would love to have something like this on my about page with my favorite music and games.

anything with N64 or GameBoy Color is the most nostalgia I've ever felt. this is so fun!
