This is overkill isn’t it? But which is the nicer overkill? 1. Grab and spin 2. Simpler turn on click

Love the turn and also the grabby spinny interaction!

Thanks! Yeah some have taken a visual collection approach like OpenEmu or even Delta iOS but nothing 3D… and this is just a fun way to show my favourites, no launching.

Are you using 3D models or just CSS transform hacks?

Basically just CSS transforms, like we could years ago! So ‘real’ 3D with depth etc, but no lighting sources or anything. Framer’s 3D transforms update has made it nice and more visual though.

It’s the N64 boxes for me 🤩 Literal treasure.

I thought about adding some kind of worn cardboard texture…would want each one a bit different as well

Hmmm. So cool. Wonder if it’d be that smooth with pure css. Hmmm.

MAYBE Framer Motion is doing some really clever stuff but I’d imagine it’d be okay with just CSS! I’ll have a look on codepen...

Love this. I like the spin best. It has me imagining a Blockbuster store interior recreation or an amazing library/book store
