Thanks for the feedback! I just checked out the Lookouts logo and it definitely has a similar appearance and vibe to the left option for Coffee Club

Right! I live in Chattanooga and our minor league baseball team is the lookouts and the left logo is similar. Totally different enough but love the right one!

Good call on optically centering this! I'm kind of hesitant to center it optically though because the corners of the logo won't align with the app icon container then. 😅

I like the cleverness of left, but a: could lead to confusion, and b: really sets up the brand system is going to extend the play (if that's something you want, great, but if not, then pass)

I think it has to be optically adjusted on both axes (and I would iterate on the sizing of the cees just to make sure the padding around them is optimal)

I definitely like the first option but I worry that the logo wouldn't be distinct enough from the 👀 emoji, so I'd say go with the second!

I'm realizing now that I might need to make the carat on the speech bubble shape smaller as well.

Left drew my attention first. It’s eyes and the brain has an obsession with eyes. They are like a magnet. I also find the contrasting shapes between outer and inner and the negative space more interesting than a right.
