Left drew my attention first. It’s eyes and the brain has an obsession with eyes. They are like a magnet. I also find the contrasting shapes between outer and inner and the negative space more interesting than a right.

Right! I live in Chattanooga and our minor league baseball team is the lookouts and the left logo is similar. Totally different enough but love the right one!
