The colors of this Colombian coffee I brought home from Japan is delightful. :) This coffee was roasted by Coffee County in Tokyo, Setagaya City, Kitazawa.

V60 + light roasted beans became my daily drivers in 2017. Down the rabbit hole as I started doing my own water late 2022 😅. But yeah the switch is now my daily driver, a lot more control than the regular v60.

Love to hear it! Do you use Third Wave water for your brews? I've started doing that myself recently.

I started with TWW too, but I’m not a big fan, too heavy ( perhaps half a dose would be better). The one I’m doing right now is « The World of Coffee Budapest Recipe » from the Ad Astra water article.

It’s great. So far I used two great (and easy) recipes based on coffee types. The beans that are too funky/ too strong: I do 50% V60 50% immersion. And for the beans that are great I only do the bloom as immersion, and then regular V60.

Oooo I love that you're using some unique recipes based on the bean you're using! Also doing a 50% V60 + 50% immersion is so interesting. I bet the produces a fantastic brew and I'd love to get this brewer just to try that recipe.
