I think they're overdoing it with the painted imagery/kind of aesthetic.. Feels like a missed opportunity to branch out into different types of styles. Should be more aspirational

same, the previous vibe was gorgeous and I was a big fan of Area 17's work on the brand—but with the massive investments mounting, there's been increasing pressure on go-to-market, and the pivot in brand messaging makes sense

I really loved the old, but don't hate the new. I wish they kept SOME of the researchy-focused design in this new direction than going full SaaS, but I can understand why they went this direction.

oddly they pioneered it with the early Dall•e site, but agree, everyone started doing it this year and now it feels blasé!
