I need to stop creating systems for everything. I design for future problems too early. I anticipate scaling problems too much. Sure it’s an important part of the design work, but also a time-consuming one. I need a better balance.

I used to have design heroes. I’d marvel at their work and spend entire nights just browsing their portfolio.

I used to consider that, in order to achieve any significant result, I had to focus all my energy towards it until it’s done. Now, whenever I feel the urge to go all in on anything, my whole self screams "red flag". Time is an ally in creating great things.
